TRI - SWIM : Suitable for novice and seasoned triathletes looking to improve their technique and race specific endurance

CLASS OBJECTIVE


Swimming being the first leg of a triathlon race, all triathletes need to able to swim efficiently, effectively and feel strong towards T1.

Swimmers will focus on key drills, stroke technique and swim fitness. Aim is to build swimmers' open water confidence and to race effectively in the sea. This is achieved by understanding external factors during the monthly sea swim training and through different training methods in the pool.

Swimmers will be categorized into different group and classes based on their swimming level.
All classes will be focusing on front-crawl as the priority stroke. Breaststroke, backstroke and butterfly will be taught along the way as a second priority.

All classes provides you with an ideal environment with GROUP DYNAMICS to motivate you to swim. Classes are also suitable for those who would like to swim for fitness.







MONDAY & THURSDAY

This class has minimum coaching and drills, suitable for seasoned triathletes/swimmers.
It is recommended for those planning to participate in long distance swim events such as open water swims, IRONMAN races and Masters Swim competitions.
Swimmers will be exposed to different methods of training to build endurance and strength. Important pointers will be highlighted during drills and training.

All sessions must be completed within 6 months
Fees: Existing -- $840 ($30/twice a week)
           New       -- $952 ($34/twice a week)
Please note there will be no make-up for this sign up.

TUESDAY 

This class is suitable for NOVICE triathletes/swimmers.
It is recommended for those new in tri-swim.
Please note that this is a slow class with limited number of students. Swimmers will be mainly focusing on technique and stroke correction.
Swimmers will be recommended to move to an advanced class when ready.

PERSONALIZED COACHING

This class is suitable for any triathletes/swimmers who need special attention on the technical aspect

Flexible timing and days will be arranged.
A guided weekly training program will be recommended.
Swimmers are allowed to join any tri-swim class for training.
